About Us:

yasp is pioneering the future of software development with a compiler that leverages agentic AI for advanced optimization and code generation. As we move from research breakthroughs into production deployments with customers, we are strengthening the bridge between our R&D and Platform teams. We are looking for a Software Developer Platform to own that bridge: building and maintaining the integrations, deployment pipelines, and infrastructure that turn ML research into production-ready services, and adding engineering capacity for the customer projects ahead of us.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development and testing of the YASP AI Platform, distributing workloads across the latest high-performance computing hardware. (GPGPU/multicore CPU) and software technologies

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide robust platform services serving the mission

  • Contribute to the improvement of internal production pipelines, optimizing and writing production-level code for seamless integration

  • Act as a software development mentor for junior-level employees by actively participating in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and providing mentorship within the engineering team

  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in machine learning and share insights to foster a culture of continuous learning

Requirements:

  • Degree in Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years of Python development experience on Linux and distributed systems

  • Strong understanding of containerization, CI and Kubernetes

  • System thinker with an eye on code quality and testability

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

  • Proven history of operating systems in production, ownership of subsystems.

  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred:

  • Experience with SaaS products and a deep understanding of AI development workflows

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

  • Familiarity with popular ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow)
