yasp is pioneering the future of software development with a compiler that leverages agentic AI for advanced optimization and code generation. We are looking for a visionary Senior Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team and scale our presence across Europe, Canada, and North America.

We don’t draw boundaries between strategy and execution. We are looking for a builder who can navigate deep-tech communities, secure high-profile PR, and establish yasp as a household name at the world’s leading tech conferences. Together, we will bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and global market leadership.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and execute the roadmap to establish yasp as a category leader in the EU, Canada, and North American markets

  • Own our public relations strategy; build relationships with key journalists, tech influencers, and analysts to secure coverage in high-impact technical publications

  • Lead our presence at major global conferences (e.g., NeurIPS, Web Summit, Collision, KubeCon); manage everything from speaking slots to booth strategy.

  • Identify and steer our presence in developer-centric channels (Hacker News, Reddit, Discord, technical blogs) with an experiment-driven, authentic mindset.

  • Work with our engineering team to translate complex AI compiler breakthroughs into compelling narratives for both developers and C-level executives.

  • Evaluate the efficacy of our international campaigns via benchmarking across diverse regions, ensuring global brand consistency.

What We're Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing/Communications with a proven track record of scaling tech startups across both European and North American markets

  • An existing network of media contacts and experience navigating the PR landscape in the deep-tech or AI sector

  • Proven experience in organizing and executing high-impact presences at international tech conferences

  • Exceptional storytelling abilities; you can turn "Agentic AI Compilers" into a story that captures the imagination of the tech world

  • You are a "hands-on" senior leader - strategic enough to plan the year, but agile enough to write the press release and manage the event booth yourself

Bonus Points:

  • Experience working in a remote-first, global team across multiple time zones

  • Deep understanding of the AI space, developer tools (DevTools) ecosystem and how to market to engineers

  • Previous experience in a "Founding Marketer" role or similar high-growth stage

  • Connections to major AI research hubs in Canada (Toronto/Montreal) or the US
