
yasp is pioneering the future of software development with a compiler that leverages agentic AI for advanced optimization and code generation. As we scale across Europe, Canada, and North America, we're hiring a Lead Product Marketing and Growth to own and drive our market strategy from the ground up.
This is a high-impact leadership role at a company working on genuinely novel technology. You'll have the mandate to shape our positioning, define how we reach engineering leaders and developers worldwide, and build the commercial engine behind a product category that didn't exist two years ago.
We don't draw boundaries between strategy and execution. You'll set the direction and make it happen.
What You'll Do
Shape positioning and messaging: Define how yasp shows up in the market - for developers, engineering leaders, and C-suite executives. Run experiments, refine what resonates, and build a narrative that makes this new category understood by a broad audience
Support our GTM motion: Lead marketing driven GTM by building repeatable demand generation across EU and North American markets through focused, high impact marketing
Lead channel strategy: Evaluate and invest in the right mix - developer communities, content, PR, paid, partnerships - with a bias toward measurable results and fast iteration
Drive our conference and event presence: Lead yasp's strategy at major global events as pipeline and brand-building opportunities
Build media and analyst relationships: Develop connections with key journalists, tech influencers, and analysts in the AI and DevTools space to earn high-impact coverage
Work closely with founders and engineering: Sit at the intersection of product, technology, and market. You'll be in the room for commercial strategy decisions, translating technical breakthroughs into market momentum.
What We're Looking For
3+ years in marketing with a strong track record in early-stage or high-growth tech companies: You've built GTM functions before - whether as a first marketing hire, founding marketer, or early growth lead who took a company from unknown to known
Deep understanding technology: You know how engineers discover, evaluate, and adopt tools - and the difference between marketing to developers and marketing at them
Proven ability to define positioning and messaging: Not just executing campaigns - you've been the person who figured out what to say and to whom
Experience scaling across European and North American markets: You understand that what works in Berlin won't necessarily work in San Francisco, and you can navigate both
Hands-on and pragmatic: Strategic enough to plan the year, but ready to write the landing page copy, set up the analytics and draft the press release
Exceptional storytelling and visual understanding: You can take something technically complex and make it compelling to a broad audience
Nice to Have
Experience working in remote-first, globally distributed teams across multiple time zones
Background in the deep-tech or AI sector
Experience with product-led growth or developer-led adoption motions in startups
Open to travel occasionally
