We are looking for a visionary LLM Research Engineer to join our team and drive the core innovation that will define the next generation of our technology.
This is not a typical engineering role. We need a creative thinker and a relentless prototyper who lives at the bleeding edge of AI research. You will be responsible for exploring, inventing, and validating the novel techniques that solve our most challenging problems and keep our compiler years ahead of the curve.
What You’ll Do
* Lead research into novel LLM and agentic AI techniques for complex problem-solving, planning, and code synthesis.
* Design, build, and rapidly iterate on prototypes to test new hypotheses for agent-driven compilation and optimization.
* Stay at the forefront of AI research by monitoring publications (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML), open-source projects, and industry trends to identify the way to move forward.
* Solve ambiguous, high-impact problems by breaking them down, experimenting with creative solutions, and delivering proof-of-concept models.
* Collaborate closely with the engineering team to translate successful research prototypes into robust, production-ready features for our AI compiler.
### **What We’re Looking For**
* Strong programming and prototyping skills, primarily in **Python**.
* Deep expertise in the architecture and application of **Large Language Models (LLMs)**, including prompting techniques, fine-tuning, and evaluation.
* Hands-on experience with **agentic AI frameworks** and concepts (e.g., ReAct, Tree of Thoughts, multi-agent systems, planning algorithms) as well as **agentic AI libraries** such as [AutoGen](app://obsidian.md/%5Bhttps://microsoft.github.io/autogen/stable//index.html%5D\(https://microsoft.github.io/autogen/stable//index.html\)), [langchain-ai](app://obsidian.md/%5Bhttps://langchain-ai.github.io/langgraph/%5D\(https://langchain-ai.github.io/langgraph/\)), and [crewai](app://obsidian.md/%5Bhttps://www.crewai.com/%5D\(https://www.crewai.com/\)).
* A strong track record of prototyping novel ideas and pushing the boundaries of what's possible in AI.
* Solid understanding of machine learning principles and the ability to apply them to new domains.
* Master’s or PhD in **Computer Science**, **ML**, or a related field, or equivalent experience demonstrating exceptional research and building capabilities.
Bonus Points
Publications in top-tier AI/ML conferences (e.g., **NeurIPS**, **ICML**, **ICLR**, **ACL**).
Familiarity with **compiler design**, **program synthesis**, or code generation principles (MLIR, TVM, LLVM).
Experience with **Reinforcement Learning (RL)**, especially in the context of tool use or optimization.
Experience with GPU accelerated kernels (e.g. CUDA, OpenCL, ROCm) for **Nvidia and AMD GPUs**.
Contributions to major open-source AI frameworks or research projects.
